About
This is the story of Natalia, a Colombian mother who occupied a bakery located in the heart of Caracas together with her partner and a group of young activists, which they now run themselves. Three months later, Natalia gave birth to her first child after a period of intense political activism. As well as being a new mother, contemporary dancer and dance teacher, Natalia runs a community centre called La Minka as well as the occupied bakery. Venezuela is in the midst of a deep economic crisis that has intensified since the death of socialist president Hugo Chavez in 2013. This creative observational documentary tells the story of Natalia, and those she works with.
